The Williamstown Lutheran Church newsletter is “The Petra Press.” “Petra” is derived from the Greek word “petros,” meaning stone or rock. “Petra” is also the feminine version of the name “Peter.” It should be no surprise that our church is located near the Rock of Ages granite quarries.
