October 9-10: Women’s Fall Retreat at Community Lutheran Church, Burlington
Retreat Theme: Law and Gospel & the Relation to Our Vocation
A special invitation has been extended to the women of Williamstown Lutheran Church to attend Community Lutheran Church’s women’s fall retreat on Oct. 9-10. The retreat is Friday night between 6:30-8:30 p.m. and Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Guest speaker Deaconess Tiffany Manor will present a program on Law & Gospel and how it relates to our vocations. Deaconess Manor serves our LC-MS New England district as the Deaconess for Human Care.
Friday night Deaconess Manor will introduce herself and her profession and then introduce and begin the study. Cookies and refreshments will be provided. Saturday morning please join us at8:30 for a light breakfast, and the presentation will begin at 9:00. Lunch will be served, and we will finish by 3:00 p.m. We thank the Lord for this opportunity to gather and study God’s Word.

The following is a biographical sketch on our presenter:
Deaconess Tiffany Manor has been called by the New England District as the Deaconess for Human Care focusing on caring for church workers and their families. Prior to moving to New England, her first Call was with Lutheran Church Charities, leading Disaster Response and as a handler for K-9 Comfort Dogs, and was shared with Wittenberg Lutheran Center, a campus ministry. She also served congregations in Michigan, Illinois, as well as Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, MO. Deaconess TManor frequently teaches and speaks for women’s events, Bible studies and retreats within the LC-MS and with foreign LC-MS partner church bodies. She has participated in and led many short-term mission teams both domestically and internationally. Deaconess Manor received a M.A. from Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne, Indiana. She is married to Rev. Jonathan Manor, pastor of St. Paul’s Lutheran, New Hartford, CT. The Lord has blessed Tiffany and Jonathan with four children, Marissa, Grant, Grace and Melia.
